Semaglutide and GLP-1 weight loss in Charleston, at home

A nurse comes to your house and gives the injection. You never have to do it yourself.

Holy City Healthcare Consultants runs a medically supervised semaglutide and GLP-1 weight loss program across the Charleston metro for $250 a month. A licensed nurse practitioner evaluates you and prescribes. A registered nurse then comes to your home weekly, administers the injection, tracks how you are tolerating it, and adjusts with the provider.

That weekly in-home visit is the part almost nobody else offers. Most GLP-1 programs mail you a pen and a dosing chart and check in by app. If the side effects hit on week three, you are on your own with them.

5.0 on Google across 133 reviews. All GLP-1 medication is prescribed by licensed nurse practitioners after a full medical evaluation.

Weekly nurse visits, not a monthly refill

The medication is the easy part. Staying on it safely is where programs fall apart.

GLP-1 medications work by mimicking glucagon like peptide 1, a hormone involved in appetite regulation, insulin signaling and blood sugar control. They increase satiety and slow gastric emptying, which buys you room to build eating habits that hold.

They also have real side effects, and dose escalation is where most people quit. Having a nurse in the room every week is what keeps people on the medication long enough for it to work.

1Medical evaluationNurse practitioner, not a questionnaireA licensed nurse practitioner reviews your history, medications, labs and goals and decides whether a GLP-1 is appropriate. Some people are screened out. That is the point of evaluating.
2Your first visitIn your homeThe nurse starts you on the lowest sensible dose, shows you what to expect, and sets the schedule. Nothing is mailed to you to figure out alone.
3Weekly nurse visitsThe part other programs skipEvery week a registered nurse comes to you, gives the injection, checks how you are tolerating it, and reports back to the provider. Titration happens under supervision, and side effects get caught in days rather than months.
4Monthly measurementBeyond the scaleA 3D body scan tracks composition, circumference and volume. Doses and nutrition are adjusted against what the data actually shows.

Measuring what the scale cannot

Weight alone hides what is happening. A 3D body scan measures composition, circumference and volume, so you can see fat coming off and lean mass holding even in a week the number does not move. Post-program scans catch regain early, while it is still small.

We also strongly recommend, but do not require, a gut microbiome study before starting, run through our partner Jona.Health and reviewed with a provider by telehealth. It flags dysbiosis, inflammation and absorption problems that affect both weight loss and how well you tolerate the medication.

Who this is for, and who it is not

A GLP-1 is a real medication with real contraindications. We would rather tell you no at the evaluation than start you on something that is wrong for you. Final eligibility is decided by the prescribing nurse practitioner.

You may be a good candidate if

A BMI over 30
A BMI over 27 with a related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol or type 2 diabetes
You want medical oversight rather than a mail-order prescription
Getting to appointments is hard, because of mobility, illness or schedule
You do better with structure and someone actually checking in

We will review carefully, or decline, if you have

A personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, or MEN2
A gastrointestinal motility disorder such as severe gastroparesis
Pancreatitis or pancreatic disease
An active eating disorder
Pregnancy or breastfeeding

This list is not exhaustive. Bring your full medication list and history to the evaluation, including anything you take that is not prescribed.

No. A registered nurse administers every dose during an in-home visit. You never have to self-inject, and you never have to judge a dose yourself. This is the single biggest difference between our program and a mail-order GLP-1 subscription.

$250 a month. That covers the in-home injection visits, monthly 3D body scans, premium wellness supplements and nutrition support from your RN. Book now and the first 3D body scan is free. There is no separate consultation fee and no membership required.

Most patients notice changes in the first month. Results vary with dose, starting point and what else is going on metabolically. The program is built for steady, durable loss rather than a fast drop, because fast drops come back.

That depends on the condition, and it is exactly what the evaluation is for. A licensed nurse practitioner reviews your history and medications before anything is prescribed, and some conditions rule a GLP-1 out entirely. We will tell you if you are one of them.

Semaglutide is the most common. Tirzepatide and other GLP-1 receptor agonists are used when clinically appropriate. The provider chooses based on your history, your goals and how you respond, not on what is in stock.

Some people do, and any program that promises otherwise is selling you something. That is why weekly nursing, nutrition coaching and post-program body scans are built in rather than sold as an upsell. The aim is that the habits and the metabolic change outlast the prescription.

No, it is recommended and not required. It runs through our partner Jona.Health and a provider reviews it with you by telehealth. It flags dysbiosis, inflammation and absorption issues that affect both your results and how well you tolerate the medication.

The in-home program runs across the Charleston metro. We are also licensed to provide concierge medical weight loss in Connecticut and Florida through the same provider-led model.
